Purpose Of Role :
BT Security is part of BT Global Services, a global leader in Networked IT Services. We want to ensure that our Customers get and stay ahead of the threat curve.
The role holder achieves this through (billable) Consultancy, aligning Customer requirements and business priorities and translating these into BT’s Managed Security Services and cyber expertise.
Simultaneously the ideal candidate provides BT with more strategic Customer engagements and intimacy through via your thought leadership.
Role holder will, at least initially, be approx. 40% dedicated on NATO with Headquarters in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities :
Leads the Customers in defining its security strategies, at organisational and technical level.
Able to create Security Roadmaps
Recommends appropriate technologies regarding customer Security project needs.
Help help Customers prioritize budget and reduce their operational cost of security measures where possible.
Effectively engages other parts of BT to hit the targets of the projects and overcome barriers to success.
Enjoys to operate on a multi-country, multi-product or multiple customer basis.
Participates in the assessment and choice of Security solutions.
Spot and or create security leads
to provide a single interface into both the Customer and the BT Account Team for all Security perspectives
Develops successful and sustainable long term Security business relationships with customers

Develops though-leadership to the benefit of BT Security Managed Security Services and expertise
Accountable for quality and profitability of own Customer deliverables
Establishes own milestones, team objectives and delegates assignments
Work is often self-initiated
Accountable for reporting compliance
Typically would participate to the sales but could work with Account team to qualify, propose, design and sell appropriate solutions, providing technical and organizational input to bids and Security responses.
Relevant business / professional qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, EBIOS 2010) or
Security architect e.g. ISSAP architecture (CISSP concentration) or
Min 10 year relevant job experience.
Skills / Experience :
Proven ability to secure new business within Cyber Security domain
Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
Good understanding of Cyber Security technologies and standards
Good understanding of existing technical Cyber risks with the ability to articulate these coherently to non-technical personnel
Good business, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to provide organisational and technical Security support
To proactively share knowledge and learning with the team.
Good presentation skills of BT Security portfolio
