provide deal support to the European sales teams, playing an active role in Customer Business Agreement projects and providing regular reporting for senior management on deal activity. Responsibilities
Support the European Sales Team within the assigned Countries, building profitable and protected deal structure for MasterCard and playing an active advisory role for the business throughout the Customer Business Agreement process.
Ensure the integrity, compliance and tracking of business cases and financial models;
Understand business needs, strategies and regulatory requirements and consider them when building business cases models;
Co-operate with the legal department to incorporate the business case performance commitments within contracts.
Co-operate with other departments (accounting, tax, local finance) to optimize deals structure;
Perform regular analysis to assist senior management in the evaluation of opportunities
Gain business and financial acumen to defend the deals for approval via the preparation of executive summaries and additional financial analysis;
Perform detailed contract reviews to ensure full alignment with approved BC models;
Assist in the organization and provide training and advice to account teams on the business case process, financial model and its best practices and on recent regulatory guidelines;
Provide ad-hoc analyses and deal reports based on Salesforce and internal files
Special focus on fast track deals and underlying process (looking for continuous improvements of process and tool) Competencies
Able to advise key stakeholders in traditional (issuing) business deals
Able to demonstrate influencing skills and be persuasive to convince business account managers for a win-win deal proposition that is financially sound for MasterCard and meets business’ / customer’s needs.
Recognize areas to be challenged balancing MC’s and customer’s needs
Demonstrate negotiating skills that would enable to obtain the best position of MC within the deal process
Ability to establish and expand the professional network with account / functional managers and different stakeholders within the Finance department and beyond.
Able to work independently seeking advice for more complex deals
Demonstrate mature attitude and willingness to further develop All About You
University degree in Economics or Finance
Good knowledge of the bank card industry is an asset
Outstanding verbal and written English. Knowledge of other European languages is an asset
Advanced Excel knowledge; VBA development skills considered an advantage
Process minded with strong analytical skills

Ability to summarize, to identify key elements and to provide short and comprehensive information useful for the approval of deals from senior management.
