The Benefits Supervisor is responsible to evaluate opportunities and to analyze employee benefit programs, pension and medical plans and to support the local business partners with the implementation of such plans.

He / she is involved in managing strategic Region wide monetary recognition programs and as part of a larger Compensation & Benefits team provides Compensation support for job evaluation, wage and salary surveys, and salary administration.

Performs Benefits Evaluation Assessments

  • Analyzes market reference points and compares to existing local plans
  • Collects additional information from local business partners e.g. from collective bargain agreements or local practice.
  • Liaises with benefits consultants and insurance agents to determine specific needs and gain respective insight.
  • Consults local business partners on effective benefit programs.
  • Coordinates Benefit administration

  • Maintains benefits data application, retains files and manages reports.
  • Coordinates benefits surveys and performs audits on data quality and plan expiration dates.
  • Functions as first point of contact and subject matter expert for
  • Provides support to Human Resources (HR) partners to develop, analyze, and complete ad hoc Benefits studies
  • Coordinates Region wide standardized recognition programs

  • Together with the UPS procurement team manages vendors for recognition gift programs.
  • Frequently reviews items of
  • gift programs such as years of service, retirement.

  • Together with local business partners and UPS procurement coordinates order and delivery process.
  • Supports Region compensation team

  • As part of a larger team is involved in the administration of compensation plans like annual merit increase programs or International Management Incentive Plans.
  • Supports the design of wage plans and job evaluations.
  • Analyzes market data and runs compensation surveys.
  • Provides support to Human Resources (HR) partners to develop, analyze, and complete ad hoc Compensation studies.
  • Monitors competitive trends to identify market competitiveness of integrated total reward strategies and provides recommendations to management.
  • Graduate Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • 2-4 years’ work experience preferably in HR
  • Experience with PC software packages such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English any other European language is an asset
