If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International. We have anamazing opportunity! Join our team as the Cluster Director of Finance.

We are lookingfor a senior finance director who has a proven track record in hospitality. You work withthe Hotel General Managers and Interstate Central Team to oversee all financialaspects of 3 properties in Ghent, including the preparation of all budgets andforecasts, management of the Sales Ledger and Payroll.

At Hotel level,you direct the financial operations of the hotel to ensure the security ofhotel assets. You report to the GMs the financial state of the hotels and youmake recommendations to improve hotel profitability.

You serve asprimary contact for all hotel financial - and accounting-related issues withowners, Interstate, auditors (internal and external).

Job Requirement Bachelor ormaster's degree in Business / Finance, or a relevant field of work, or anequivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Professionalaccounting or finance designation or certification preferred. Minimum of 3years' experience within a Finance Management role at Hotel level, ideallywithin a branded environment.

  • Proficientin Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint + Knowledgein Opera / Micros & Navision would be advantageous + Demonstratedability to assess and understand a variety of internal and external economicand financial issues which impact the business, to analyse data and forecastfuture business trends, and to develop effective financial plans based onbusinesses assessments.
  • Demonstratedexperience in leading and developing people. + Strongcommunication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within theorganization and ability to gain consensus.
  • Demonstratedknowledge of finance, budgeting and accounting processes and regulations + Demonstratedability to scope a project and develop a plan of action, ability to influenceothers, present convincing arguments and deal with conflicting viewpoints This company is an equal opportunity employer. frnch1
