The Role

You would be a Solution Designer and wouldbe based out of our Hayes Office. You would be responsible to collaborate onthe technology planning, strategy, direction and design choices withinsolutions used to meet the business requirements of SITA customers.

Thisincludes providing guidance, support and advice in the proposal, implementationand deployment for any new or existing product developments as part of acustomer solution.

They are the primary technical interface with the customer.They drive new business opportunities by leveraging knowledge of informationtechnologies and of the air transport industry through detailed pre-

salestechnical and commercial expertise and strong product knowledge.

Your role will involve

Providing the technical qualification andowning the technical and commercial parts of proposals submitted to customersthrough knowledge of current, new or evolving technologies, and SITA solutionportfolios.

Ability to lead and manage the design anddevelopment of standard and complex solutions which may involve multipleparties both internally and externally, including the selection of 3rd partyvendor to meet customer requirements.

Promoting SITA by furnishing customers withcomprehensive, up-to-date information on current products, product enhancementsand new solutions, through customer meetings and workshops.

Facilitatingdesigns to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supportedoperationally.

Ensuring interaction and collaboration withcolleagues is carried out to gain and share ideas and opportunities.

Supporting accounts team or competency centresduring the pre-contract phases (qualification, proposal and contract) withtechnical designs and advice.

Participating in the development oftechnical account strategies with the sales team to ensure maximum accountpenetration and commercial benefits for SITA in the long term.

  • Providing customers with professional,timely, accurate and effective business proposals to provide SITA services,which includes to be responsible for overall solution, bid content, bid qualityand timely proposal submission to Sales;
  • Participating in the consultative sellingprocess with the commercial and sales team.

    Identifying and develops the optimum winstrategy and associated appropriate level of response to successfully bid andwin each contract.

    Developing the overall bid project plan andbuild and manage the virtual Bid Team to achieve the bid deliverables in aneffective and efficient manner.

    We would like it if you have the belowknowledge and experiences :

    3 5 years of experience in InformationTechnology Telecom Industry or Air Transport Industry technology in a technicalpre-sales role.

    Proven track record in producingcommunicating and documenting successful technical customer solutions.

    Sales Business and or Commercial experienceis a plus.

    Knowledge of Airport technologies such aspassenger processing, baggage processing and Airport operational systems.

    Knowledge of technical and commercialaspects of the Air Transport Industry a plus.

    Solution Presentation : The Solutionengineer needs to be able to present with authority and credibility to individualusers and senior customers.

    This will include challenging the customer'srequirements and convincing the customer of alternatives, influencing thedecision-

    making process, being perceived as a trusted advisor, etc.

    BS level Technical Degree or equivalentexperience in Engineering Computer Technologies.
