Our purpose is to improve the lives of many, for generations, enabling the planet to sleep better. Our Master data Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining of the centralized masterdata in SAP related to yarns, fabrics, finishes and covers.
You work within the HQ division to support the business units worldwide and assist with your expertise whenever problems occur.
You are part of the R&D team and you work in close collaboration with IT, supply chain, sales, business units & the engineering team.
Key responsibilities : Responsible for maintaining all data input in SAP : Input of building blocks related to the product (ex.
yarns, colors, and (finish) codes) Creation of the textile products in the system Controlling & entering custom tariffs Ensuring correct costing of finished goods Automize and improve processes together with different departments : Supporting sales in creating improved processes Supporting production in de different business units (ex.
machine setting generator) Structuring of inputted data by automated classification process Taking the lead in product requests by analyzing & processing Initiating & launching automatization of manual data input together with IT Daily checking the list of new creations : Extending creation to other production plants Making corrections where needed Giving feedback to creators Assist production planning when problems occur in the system Maintaining the internal standard data matrix together with R&D Master data conversion from other ERP systems into SAP Change variant configurating data in bulk You will report to the head of R&D Fabrics and Covers Profile You have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Textile or IT You have technical experience in working with ERP systems, preferably SAP Insight in programming behind ERP systems is a plus You have a general knowledge of textiles Knowledge of Microsoft office especially in excel is a must You are fluent in English, spoken and written An eye for detail and working very precise sound familiar to you You have the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and simple way You have a good insight in translating physical products into master data Flexible and stress resistant are two of your characteristics, so you’re able to work towards deadlines and to prioritize conflicting and changing priorities Self-motivated with a sense of ownership and strong desire to succeed You are a team player with a positive attitude Willing to travel for training and setup SAP (max. 10%)
