EASTPAK ONLINE MERCHANDISER
In this role you will help shape the digital future of Eastpak by partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to drive and exceed our eCommerce financial results by executing the Eastpak eCommerce merchandising strategy.
Your role is to trade the website and merchandise products according to seasonal categories and stories defined by the retail marketing calendar.
Together with your manager, you constantly focus on improving execution of the most compelling online assortments and merchandising initiatives and deliver online sales and margin plan.
You are a team player yet able to also work on own initiative. With ambition, and an ever enquiring mind, you will keep abreast of new developments in the world of eCommerce and deliver a unique selling proposition within a competitive online shopping landscape.

As a key member of the eCommerce team you will be responsible for :
Drive financial results by maximising sales and margin, inventory sell through and bottom line profitability by understanding the brand needs and product assortment.
Participate in the development of the website with the aim to deliver great usability, 'on brand' shopping experience and inline with the digital strategy
Categorization, filtering, cross / upselling, keywords and site search maintenance facilitating efficient product search and reinforcing positive brand experience
Ensure an effective and data driven visual merchandising while overviewing collection launches
Work closely with the digital marketing team to create the online brand experience and match the retail seasonal and promotional activity
Work with buying and merchandising team for the eCommerce seasonal product buy, online exclusives, and additional stock initiatives.
Manage inventory to cover stock needs to meet customer demand and financial goals.
Merchandising product listing pages by country
Build and share reports on merchandising initiatives with key stakeholders on a regular basis
Manage ecom calendar around pillars; exclusives, brand stories, collaborations, seasonal launches
Align & communicate with other departments to create & execute the calendar
Work with team to gather product assets including images, product description and technical information for new collection launches.
Validating all product content.
Participate in UAT for new capabilities and improvements as well as bigger projects such as re-platforming onto Magento 2.0
Work with online customer service team to analyse returns figures and reasons.
Required skills to be succesful
Minimum 3 years of experience in an eCommerce or digital environment with a focus on merchandising, coordinating and achieving business results
Preferably a Bachelor or university degree or equivalent through experience
Proficiency in written and spoken English and at least one other European language. Knowledge of more languages is an asset
Ability to prioritise workload
