Management of the Production Department in relation to people, products and equipment The Procution Manager assures an efficient and safe production at the highest quality level, with minimum cost and in line with ISO / TS standards, taken into account customer satisfaction.
He develops a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsible to reduce occupational accidents and meet all legal requirements and Henkel SHE standards.
Drives deployment of manpower and resources to successfully execute manufacturing strategy.
Develops operations area objectives and plans to achieve production and budgetary goals. Manages production personnel to meet production objectives.
Uses production schedule and inventory to optimize utilization of manpower and equipment. Delivers products of specified consistency and quality to customers on time in full.
Manages / controls spending in line with site operations strategy.
Leads and drives continuous operational improvements. Manages people, equipment and material assets towards successful execution of manufacturing strategy.
Ensures all manufacturing procedures are up to date Interacts with customers in coordinating new projects as needed.
Manages and directs maintenance of existing facilities and equipment.
Manages the installation of new equipment and facilities upgrades as required.
Works closely with Process Engineering to successfully scale-up new products and is responsible for ensuring APQP documentation is followed.
Maintains good relations and develops activities which promote the integration with other departments.
Actively contributes to the Adhesive Electronic Operations team.
Who we are looking for
Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
Engineering degree or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in team work, problem solving, influencing and communication skills.
Leadership & people management skilss.
Knowledge and understanding of Quality Certification ISO / TS etc Knowledge of EU, Belgium, Flemish and Brussels legislation Working knowledge of SAP & Lotus Notes, Advanced user Ms Word, Ms Excel, databases for storage, access and control of documents.
