POSITION OBJECTIVE : POSITION DIMENSIONS :

Provide top quality accounting and control services to multiple internal and external Stakeholders, providing true picture of businesses performances
Ensure integrity of each legal entity end to end financial records directly or cooperating with controlling functions, MMU, Treasury, Financial Services and coordinating the activities of FCA Services in sub ledgers (AP and AR) in compliance with Business needs Corporate directives and policies US GAAP / IFRS / Local GAAP / Tax regulations
Ensure proper internal control environment aiming for operational excellence and assuring compliance with CNHI policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Initiate and follow up on people development initiatives to allow growth within the Finance organization and to implement a culture of personal individual accountability
Manage the teams to assure the correct skills are available or are developed within the teams, to reach the objectives, and to ensure that the performances of the team members are in line with the expectations
Define & prioritize continuous improvement programs in liaison with other functions, aiming for operational excellence and total quality in all processes.
Scope is CNH Industrial Belgium, CNH Industrial Denmark, CNH Industrial Asian Holding, Case Special Excavators, Iveco Belgium, Iveco Netherlands, EMEA CNH Industrial (AG & CE) for spare parts costing
Operates largely independently within CNHi policies and statutory and tax regulations

European responsibilities requiring ad hoc traveling.
Direct communication and coordination with managers & directors in the legal entities in scope, with the consolidation team and with European project teams.
Education and Experience required
EDUCATION / SKILLS : EXPERIENCE :
Master Degree in Economics (or equal through experience).

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Guide the accounting team through its matrix organization by customer / by process to ensure clear access gates and point of reference to best serve Controllers and Business partners, LEFMs and external stakeholders providing them solid sets of data and technical expertise
Coordinate, cooperate and negotiate with all parties in the accounting and reporting process (Controlling functions, MMU, Treasury, Financial Services, Business functions, FCA Services) the activities needed to ensure integrity of financial records in line with Business needs, Corporate directives and policies and US GAAP / IFRS / Local GAAP / Tax regulations.
Determine priorities towards the team supervisors, in line with objectives within the Finance function and aligned with the needs from other functions.

Promote continuous improvement towards the team Initiate and design quality and process improvements within the accounting team in connection with other functions.
Ensure proper internal control aiming for operational excellence through Solid Quality review process (Blackline, walk through , ) Personal individual accountability (Question behind the Question ) Issuance and deployment of accounting working instructions based on Regulation and Group / Sector policies
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures, implementing Group Finance Policies and Procedures
Support to Legal Entity Finance Manager on compliance and Reporting matters giving proactive support to Finance activity as needed.
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
Comply to local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions
Support internal and external audits (including tax)
Guide the preparation of financial reports in line with Business need by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends including local statutory financial statements
Share information with the team and provide ongoing feedback, so people understand the targets set and get a customer focused behavior
Take initiatives to develop skills and knowledge , resulting in a reliable business continuity and succession plan for a best-
in-class team in alignment with individual career goals.
Discuss with HR the correct staffing of the team , assuring the required skills and knowledge are available to deliver the services to the various stakeholders in line with their requirements.
