This position is specifically for Comscore Shareablee Team (https : / / shareablee.com, https : / / shareablee.github.io).

We are developing world class analytical software where users, using our UI and backend engines can find answers to non-trivial questions within terabytes datasets.

Requirements :

3y+ Python experience

solid Linux experience

solid debugging skills (pdb? remote debugging? BPF? tell me more)

know good practices and coding standards

have hands-on approach and being proactive

understand API communication patterns (HTTP / REST / RPC)

understanding of micro-services architecture in data processing pipelines is a plus

Kubernetes / Docker / AWS knowledge is a plus

experience with Druid.io / Spark / Kafka / ElasticSearch / RabbitMQ / Redis is a plus

Day to day work :

develop big data processing pipelines for data analytics

work closely with Ops / Web / Metrics / Infra Teams

interact with terabyte scale databases like Druid.io, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, S3

develop applications using microservice approach

design distributed apps using Kafka, Airflow, Kubernetes, Spark, AWS

design proposals to optimize the system, make it more effective and cost efficient

design data layouts for druid.io, s3, elasticsearch

put your own ideas into real world products (we are still small team and everybody contribution is essential and welcomed!)

write quality code - yes, shipping is most important, but at the end it's your name on it, let's make it right way
