We are currently looking for a motivated experienced Data Planner, based in our HQ in Brussels.
Ogilvy Social.Lab is rapidly building a genuine strength in Social and Content Strategy alongside our existing strength in paid media strategy.
To augment this growing competitive advantage, we need to up weight our expertise in data and analytics.
Our aim is to build a bridge’ between the Paid Social expertise and the Social and Content Strategy team leveraging the tools we have at our disposal (Synthesio, Unmetric etc.
as well as introducing new analytical skills to create actionable insights that improve our strategy outputs. We need to use the data we have in the media ambit to fully benefit our strategy team and our creative teams.
The key roles would be as follows :
Support new business efforts with data analysis
Support planners in developing data-validated strategies bringing data richness to what consumers are saying’, sharing’ and searching’.
Support Paid Media Strategists in improving the quality of the Social Intelligence products.
Create new, commercially viable data products.
Collaborate with WPP and external data providers to ensure that OLS augments its data sources
Help support thought leadership efforts by building data-rich insights that underling our positioning.
Report into the head of Planning.
We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience who understands our business and the range of analytical possibilities available on the social platforms to help design and build a data service that we can leverage for both new business and for existing clients.
The ideal candidate would have the following background :
Strong research skills - understand how to apply qualitative and quantitative learning
Experience in Social listening, Social data analytics, social strategic planning, Digital analytics, Social strategic audit or equivalent
Candidate must have data analytical skills and spreadsheet capabilities; can build detailed business case / ROI modeling
Expert in understanding of social media and established understanding of the wider digital communications landscape
Ability to work effectively, proactively and seamlessly amongst an integrated agency team
Eye for innovation and the next emerging platform or partner to consider as part of a social strategy results
Candidate must have experience collaborating closely with key decision influencers
Very good level of English (fluent is a +)
Knowledge of social listening and data capturing tools such as Synthesio, Sprinklr, Unmetric, Profiler, Page Karma, Social scrapper is a plus
