Treasury Analyst EMEA (m / f / i / t)
The Treasury Analyst is part of the corporate treasury team Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and supports the Treasury team in Brussels in day-
to-day activities as well as in ad-hoc projects. This position is based in Brussels (Zellik). The start date is immediately.
The key responsibility of Treasury Analyst would be to maintain and execute treasury controls, administration of static data in TMS, bank relationship management, manage banking mandates and e-
banking application access rights for EMEA, confirmation and settlement of treasury transactions, exceptions and investigations handling for FX transactions as well as regulatory reporting for derivatives.
Support Global Treasury Operations activities which involves derivative trade lifecycle management i.e., validating trade details are recorded in the TMS, confirming with the counterparty on the deal date (resolve any confirmation issues with counterparties and Front Office on the deal date), settle the trades in a timely manner & handle any bank reconciliation issues
Manage banking mandates for EMEA
Administer E-banking application for EMEA
Perform month-end closing activities and daily controls in compliance with SOX policies
Regulatory reporting for derivatives (e.g. EMIR, DDRIE) including LEI management, active follow-up on new developments on regulatory requirements and initiation of necessary changes in treasury management system
Entry and maintenance of TMS static data following internal protocols
Support bank relationship management includes opening and closing of bank accounts, negotiation contracts, control bank charges
Support the optimization of use of treasury management system and assist reporting manager with ad-hoc projects
Master’s degree in finance, banking, economics or equivalent
Hiring entry level with a few years of experience in treasury or finance in a large bank or Treasury Department of a large international company
Involvement in derivative payment processes, communication to banks, handling SOX controls and regulatory reporting for derivatives
Participation in IT projects such as implementation or upgrade of treasury systems would be an advantage

Advance knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Fluency in English is required; any other additional language would be an asset
Candidates must be able to meet Belgium work permit requirements and employment is subject to work permit approvals.
