This could be the job for you! We currently are seeking a highly motivated Manager for our Advisory Performance Improvement Finance service line to manage client engagement teams and manage business development activities with a focus on Finance transformation.

You will advise CFOs of multinationals and (medium) large companies in a variety of sectors about improving their finance function, financial processes and performance.

You will work in an international environment, often in a multidisciplinary team, on projects that have a big impact on the financial and business results of a company, such as :

  • Global business services
  • Business partnership & controlling excellence
  • Finance operating model design
  • Large-scale transformation projects
  • Technology for Finance including Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    Your responsibilities as a Manager Performance Finance Improvement include :

  • Effectively manage and motivate teams of 3-5 team members and provide constructive on-the-job feedback / coaching. Play an active role in mentoring junior advisors within the organization.
  • Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Responsible for establishing a productive team working environment, allocating tasks and handling issues as and when they arise.
  • Delivery and responsible for work stream delivery, status reporting and managing budgets
  • Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess / present ways to serve clients.
  • Communicate well with high level client stakeholders and develop & maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
  • Recognizes and manages potential issues during client assignments. Influences and persuades clients and stakeholder to gain support for major changes and key decisions.
  • Profile

  • Completed a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or (Business) Economics
  • A consulting experience of 5-8 years, with a track record of performance improvement projects or similar experience within the business
  • Fluent in English and good knowledge of French and / or Dutch, including excellent writing skills

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and relevant project experience in one of the following areas : Process reengineering, Finance Operating model Design, Planning-
  • Budgeting-Forecasting-Reporting, Cost & Profitability analysis, and has affinity with the Finance function & processes.

  • Demonstrate experience of past project delivery and business development, whereby stakeholder and change management are important pillars
  • You are focused on collaborating and working together, as well as are capable of influencing, encouraging and stimulating others
  • The ambition to supervise and coach junior colleagues as well as contribute to their development
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis (between 30% and 50%)
