As our Brand Manager you will develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans for our leading products. You aim to optimize sales, market share and revenue growth of our brands in the short and long term.

You have a balanced and defined customer interaction focus through initiating and facilitating collaborative projects with external stakeholders.

Give input and feedback for the regional and / or local market, forecasting, competitor information and customer insights.

Besides, you manage the local brand team and cooperate with your colleagues from medical, sales, market access, legal and regulatory affairs.

You have freedom to be proactive, autonomous and define your own projects. This role provides you an opportunity to showcase yourself, develop and further strengthen our brands in a highly competitive market.

Place of work is Boehringer Ingelheim’s Belgian office in Brussels and will report directly to the local Head of Marketing and Customer Experience.

  • Duties & Responsibilities Lead the local cross functional brand team and the local product / indication launch readiness process;
  • Play a key role in the shaping of the strategic direction of the brand by managing the local adaptation of the brand plan in close cooperation with a cross functional and international team, including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Customer experience manager, Customer Facing Functions and Communications;
  • Ensure and drive effective omnichannel brand activity plan using customer and market insights to maximize short, medium and long term objectives.

  • Plan and execute all communications and media actions on all channels (digital experience is a plus!)Achieve financial targets : 1) achieve sales budget and market share evolution, 2) initiate corrective measures in case of deviation from planned sales and market share development in alignment with the regional plan / strategy;
  • Plan, organize and lead sales cycle / training meetings to serve the brand strategy objectives and Go To Market transformation;
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders : in close cooperation with medical and field operations, conduct regular field visits to stay customer focused and keep up to date with regards the competitive environment.

  • RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Business Administration, (Digital) Marketing, Medicine or other related field; Minimum 2 / 3 years of previous experience as Brand Manager;
  • Previous knowledge in Marketing / Pharmaceuticals / OTC sector is highly preferred;Excellence Project Management Skills are required;
  • Profound knowledge of multichannel customer plansEager to learn and able to work autonomously. You’re agile and a born strategic thinker with a positive mindset Capable of in depth Medical / Scientific understanding in the specific therapeutic area;
