In order to support its exponential growth, our client is currently looking for a (Senior) Associate with relevant experience in the field of IP / ICT law and data protection.
You will be part of the Commercial Law Department under supervision of Jürgen Egger, who leads the commercial law service line within the global legal network.
You will be particularly focusing on Intellectual Property, ICT and data protection services.
Your responsibilities will include :
Supporting (international) clients in relation to trademarks, patents, copyrights, licensing, data protection, software development, e-
commerce, domain name disputes and media law, amongst others;
Taking an active part in (international) business development initiatives of the IP / ICT practice;
Advising on all aspects of IP, ICT law and data protection, including drafting and negotiating all types of agreements;
Managing the IP portfolio’s of clients in different sectors;
Given your seniority, you will gradually also supervise younger colleagues.
You have a Belgian law degree, obtained with excellent academic credentials. Additional qualifications (L.L.M. in IP / ICT) or international experience in the field of IP or ICT are great assets;
You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a reputed law firm handling IP / ICT or data protection matters;

Your oral and written communication skills is professional, thoughtful and effective you master Dutch, English and French fluently;
