As Hardware Support Engineer, you will be part of the ESO (Engineering Support Office) Team which is a new pilar of the Hardware Engineering Department.
The team will support the Hardware Engineering Department so that the Hardware Engineering Department remains focusing on its main tasks i.
e. making electromechanical design. ESO Team will then take charge of all the requests coming from downstream department like manufacturing, quality, supply
Challenges we will trust with
You will :
Ensure Data Quality Management (make the technical specifications (drawing, document ) up to date with Key Characteristics (KC), i.
e. characteristic which have to be checked when getting a part from the supplier. For former specifications : on request, define the minimum KC to be checked at QC;
ask engineering designers support when needed; trace it like a Standard Part Design Change which is not critical (SPDC) inside the documentary system (Catia, Eplan, EBOM, SAP ) For new specifications : participate to design review meetings with the engineering team to bring close to the field experience and pragmatism;
check specifications are fulfilled with KC within the process
Be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) when a supply or manufacturing problem is intended for the hardware engineering department.
Gather all the data needed, the ins and the outs Analyze the problem with all the teams Be the leader for solving the problem asap
Be responsible with the KC that have been defined on former specification and with the SPDC that have been decided.
Update actual IBA processes with the new ESO flow, including definition of KPI showing how the ESO team contributes to improve downstream manufacturing, supply and QC times, but also upstream design times.
