Mission / Job purpose
In order to increase demand of our passenger car tyres & services, the Trade Marketing Manager designs, develops and implements competitive marketing actions for our B2B customers (channels) mainly for European countries in coherence with company Sales & Marketing strategy Bridgestone EMEA.
He / She contributes to the company growth in terms of brand equity, points of sale footprint, net sales and operating profit through coordination of successful Pan European trade marketing campaigns in collaboration with local trade marketing teams.
You will enrich and fine tune the current value proposition of Bridgestone trade marketing programs and create synergies (with regions, countries, co-creation with key customers, etc.);
You will develop, test, implement periodical sell-in and sell-out promotions in coordination with Brand Marketing & Sales department in order to increase the demand of Bridgestone passenger car tyres and support sales (trade marketing plan by channel);
You will propose trade marketing yearly budget and timeframe by Region / Channel, coordinate and manage expenses in order to ensure constant follow-up and consistent reporting on monthly spending, measured ROI (incremental sales, visibility, etc.
and feedbacks (internal / external customers satisfaction);
You will develop trade marketing guidelines that are published annually and advise on promotional weight and frequency standards by Brand, Key Customer and Channel;
You will coordinate Pan-EU incentive programs / trips and leverage on corporate assets (following main sponsorship programs of the company), share best practices with the regions and challenge local trade marketing specialists for optimal deployment with distribution;
You will act as a key liaison between Brands Marketing, Product and Sales teams and ensure consistency in trade marketing assets.
You will provide direction during new product launch preparation and support during first deployment of a product;
You will be in charge of delivering the standard trade marketing launch pack for our products such as availability of point of sale merchandising material, event guidelines for trade activation, sales force presentation / argumentation / pitch, phygital content for Pan-EU customers (dedicated materials and product content for Online Pure Player / Click & Brick / Retailer / Wholesaler);
You will manage the relationships with contracted agencies (EU scope).
University degree preferred;
At least 5 years of experience in Trade marketing;
Experience in an international matrix environment;
Influencer and hands-on attitude;
Tyre / automotive industry exposure is an asset;
Deep understanding of consumer purchase experience and channel needs to be able to propose the best levers to engage & convert;
Languages : English (French and German is a plus).
