Our passion stems from the desire to preserve our planet for next generations, knowing that Hydrogen should contribute for 20% of the CO2 emissions reduction required to achieve the 2 C goal.

H2 BU is : - a young and lean business unit, activating very large external & internal networks of people and competencies on many geographies around the world,-

multi-localized with people based closed to the fields of actions ; we have already developed a portfolio of projects in various countries such as Chile, Australia, Netherlands, France,-

organized on a role basis, and with delivery of the strategic roadmap organized in a project mode with ST objectives.It allows each partner to express his / her leadership, handle new responsibilities and work on very different type of subjects, where the contribution of everyone is key to come up with solutions that do not exist today.

    Your primary role within the BU, knowing that roles can be enriched : 1. Design first level hydrogen system models

  • Purpose : support the conception of hydrogen based solutions as well as the business development activities by designing and integrating all technical and market elements related to the targeted value chain
  • Accountabilities :
  • Design complex large-scale hydrogen systems and applying mathematical modelling tools to gain strategic insights into the evolution of the main technology brick (power supply, electrolysis, H2 storage etc.).
  • Specifically support the inception and the development phases of projects for defining and refining the whole system design as well as the main technical / financial metrics including the LOHC (Levelized Cost Of Hydrogen).
  • Interact with the specialists of Tractebel to further develop and consolidate the overall system design. You want to share and / or develop ?
  • Analytical and structured, with hands-on approach : be able to suggest and implement innovative solutions to everyday problems
  • Self-starter state of mind and ability to adapt to different teams, stakeholders or ways of working
  • Ability to rapidly assess and resolve problems with varying degrees of ambiguity
  • Team-player culture, demonstrating empathy and respect for people
  • Develop authentic relationships, through generous listening and straight talkQualifications or background : oYou are a fast learner and able to upskill yourself quickly on new topics ;
  • oCreative and bold ;oHands-on and also able to have a high level communication ;oYou are a native / fluent English speaker, French and / or Spanish would be a plus.

    oYou hold and an advanced degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Economics, or a related field. oYou will have a good understanding of the overall energy landscape, supply / demand equilibrium, and market structures.

    A previous exposure to the hydrogen market is a valuable plus. oYou will be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and challenge economic analyses, business strategies, and business models.

    oProven experience of programming languages, of mathematical programming techniques and of developing and using energy systems models is a plus.
