Pilot and Lab Technician

As Pilot & Lab Technician, you are an expert on piloting a production line combined with a good knowledge of standard analytical techniques.

In this position, you use your knowledge on ingredients and application methods like whipping tests, baking tests,.. The aim is to apply this knowledge in a scientifically sound way to support research projects and services in collaboration with BU’s and affiliates.

You structure, write and share reports on trials and results.

Key responsibilities

Plan and run UHT pilot line productions

Perform quality control, shelf-life follow-ups, application tests

Manage maintenance of pilot and other equipment

Build-up contacts with internal service departments and equipment suppliers

Ensure constant availability of raw materials

Support projects in collaboration with other BUs and / or affiliates

Report on projects, pilot trials, quality controls, etc.

Train colleagues and interns

Who are we looking for?

You have technical knowledge of production equipment and GMP

You are familiar with standard analytical tools

You work in a structured way and have excellent planning capabilities

You are accurate and eye for details

You are flexible and have a good capability to deal with change

You have at least basic knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SAP is a plus

You are a team player, passionate for quality

You are fluent in English, French and / or Dutch are a plus
