The customer service lab technician will be focused on conducting experiments and projects in order to support our internal and external customers.
This way we want to create a best-in-class service that differentiates Saflex® from its competitors.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who already has an initial experience in Saflex®products and who can use that knowledge to increase the efficiency of our lab.

As a Customer Service Lab Technician you will report to the Customer Service Lab Lead and be responsible for
Conducting experiments for customer requests and projects in cooperation with different departments or divisions, including but not limited to technical service, industry support, marketing and technology.
Developing and following up projects and testing programs.
Processing and analysing of a wide range of customer samples.
Developing hands-on and in-depth technical expertise
Ownership of different optical and thickness measurement techniques for customer applications
Maintaining equipment and optimising current analyses and measuring techniques.
Working safely and promoting a safe work environment
Administrative tasks including but not limited to creating reports, presentations and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, material sciences, or equal at the minimum, first experience is necessary
You are interested in supporting projects with customers and internal projects and setting up tests for product development.
You are able to work independently within a lab team, planning your own tests and interpreting your results critically
You are able to solve problems in a creative way
You are a team player
You work accurately and pay attention to details, order and safety.
You are fluent in both Dutch and English, and are able to write English reports independently.
Clear and effective written and oral communication is essential.
