Job Description

Have you ever suffered from poor performance when using an application? Functional testing of a system is nowadays not sufficient anymore to please the end-user.

One of the key non-functional aspects to address is performance.

As a Performance Test Specialist , you know how to execute a performance test project with all its different phases.

Starting with a good strategy, gathering the right performance requirements from the key stakeholders, setting up your infrastructure and build and run your performance scripts are just a few of the many activities you conduct as a performance tester.

Crucial is to perform the proper tests in a representative environment so the client gets a good view on the performance status of their applications.

For this, you need to work intensively together with manual testers, operations, release management, infrastructure people, development, etc.

In your daily work you :

Set up the proper environment and tools for your automation

Define a specific performance strategy involving all needed stakeholders

Create and maintain automated scripts applying the latest scripting techniques

Run all scripts and provide transparent reporting on the analyzed results

Make sure the performance testing is aligned with the other testing types and the development process

Skills & Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree

You have a driver's license

You are fluent in Dutch and English and have a good command of French

You are flexible in terms of travel & customer location

At least 3-4 years of experience in structured testing of software

Knowledge of and proven project experience in one or more performance test tools (LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter ), automated testing (Selenium, HP UFT.

and experience in structured programming

You show flexibility and always act in a professional way

You can work independently , but also in a team

You have a strong focus on quality in everything you do

You are proactive and have a high problem-solving attitude
