Role and Responsibilities
The purpose of the Functional Analyst role in the Process & Functional Support function of HR (PFS HR) is to act as is to act as a key player in the support of the HR applications and data related to Talent within NMBS, this includes :
Competences / Qualifications / Certifications (QLF) via SAP HR, SAP Portal (Webdynpro / FIORI)
Learning Management & e-Learning via SAP HR, SAP Portal (Webdynpro / FIORI), Mobile Devices
Appraisals / Coachings (OSA) via SAP HR, SAP Portal (Webdynpro / FIORI), Mobile Devices
Interfaces to and from different Legacy Applications via SAP PI and SAP Idocs
Interfaces to and from Operational Planning Applications via SAP PI, ESB and SAP Idocs
Providing day-to-day excellence in Functional & Technical Application Support which entails :
End to End responsibility for resolving assigned incidents / requests
Diagnosing / Analyzing issues and changes, design solutions
Preparation of functional / technical specifications using technical expertise
Customizing in SAP HR and related (HR) applications
Major Accountabilities :
Act as Change Manager for certain changes and requests regarding NMBS HR applications regarding Talent. Manage expectations and ensure effective, practical planning & qualitative delivery.
Work with NMBS Talent Process Leads, NMBS Talent key users and other PFS HR members to operationally manage assigned change requests, bug fixes and small operational enhancements.
Ensure fit with process and customer / user satisfaction, engagement / adoption by the business.
Plan and coordinate new NMBS HR Talent applications releases (Scope / Delivery / Testing / Communication / Adoption / Quality Assurance)
Actively bring in best practices, out-of-the box thinking, insights and technology trends to help improve NMBS HR Talent applications and level of service regarding these applications.
Proactively try to improve support, training, processes and communication around NMBS HR Talent applications
Independently run small projects
You will report to the HR Process & Functional Support (PFS HR) Manager and will work closely with the NMBS HR Process Leads, HR Organization and the other NMBS IT functions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Able to analyze functional requirements and translate these to SAP technical implementations
Significant experience in customizing and maintaining SAP HR modules :
o SAP Qualifications / Certifications (QLF) at Senior Level
o SAP Learning Solution (LSO) at Senior Level
o SAP Appraisals (OSA) at Senior Level
o ESS / MSS / FIORI knowledge is not required but regarded as a plus
o SAP AIF knowledge is not required but regarded as a plus
o Knowledge of some SAP successfactors Talent modules is not required but regarded a plus
Good knowledge of HR Talent Management business processes and applications
Strength in building and reinforcing good governance, risk management and strong operational practices
Graduated from higher education
Have more than 5 years of relevant experience in a similar function or through project experience
Enthusiastic team player
Strong analytical and problem solving mind, knowing how to separate main issues from side-issues and getting them solved quickly.
