Duties & Responsibilities
End responsibility within our projects for all Process Engineering from the quotation phase, over design till qualification and handover to the client in projects for Pharmaceutical and Biotech clients.
Act as SME for process & equipment, driving requirements in the design / selection of process equipment.
Supervision and coaching of all Process Engineers in the team.
Analyze and provide resolution of technical issues, perform Process Engineering tasks and design reviews.
Ensure incorporation of all cGMP, client specific quality requirements, support client quality audits if needed.
Provide process analytic data through modelling programs where suitable and report on such data.
Continuous development of the strength of the local Process Engineering department.
Know, apply and develop M+W Process Engineering policies and standards.
Follow and anticipate process technology and design industry trends and knowledge transfer to the team.
Master s degree in Civil, Industrial or Bio-Engineering, with a specialization in Process Engineering.
10 years of relevant work experience as a process engineer in the Life Sciences industry.
Construction experience and knowledge of simulation packages, engineering codes.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry (cGMP) standards through proven experience.
Knowledge about process improvement, Lean or Six Sigma is considered an asset.
Be an active member of a relevant professional body / society (e.g. ISPE,EHEDG, ), or willing to join one.
