Group Financial Controller
Aliaxis is seeking to hire a Group Financial Controller.

The Group Financial Controller will be custodian of the financial accounts across the Group with the ultimate responsibility to ensure Companies compliance with Group principles, GAAPS and IFRS standards.
He / she will also act as the architect of relevant financial and management reporting to aid business decision making.
The function is based within Aliaxis' HQ (Brussels) and will be part of a team of Finance professionals / business partners delivering activity around, Reporting Controlling and Consolidation.
Key responsibilities :
Responsible in the controlling of high quality, accurate, compliant and timely corporate financial reporting for the Group;
Optimize and improve the way financial reporting is carried out and delivered in;
Work closely with the Group consolidation team and support in preparing year-end close and annual reports;
Further develop and increase process optimization and implement new tools, processes and systems to improve financial reporting, measurement and modelling;
Provide update of the Aliaxis Accounting Manual and Cost Control guidelines;
Maintain knowledge levels of IFRS requirements & processes within the Aliaxis Group by ensuring relevant training;
Responsible for ad hoc projects (IFRS, ) & process (Working Capital, TP, );
Ensure Group compliance throughout the divisions.
Master degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or management;
Minimum of 7 years' experience in a finance role - preferable within a multinational manufacturing environment. Previous Audit experience would be an asset;
International or multi-site accounting experience; prior knowledge and capability in IFRS;
Strong track record in reporting, general accounting matters and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual accounts;
Excellent analytical skills : rigorous and reliable attention to details & ability to think objectively and derive meaningful insights from quantitative data;
Able to identify trends and issues and challenge in a constructive way;
Project management skills and problem solving ability;
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to coach and guide others without direct line authority;
Sound computer proficiency and comfortable working with reporting and consolidation packages (eg Cognos, TM1, Excel, );
Fluent in English.
