We are looking for an Account Manager with a passion for automatisation industry to join our Process Systems & Solutions Sales team in Diegem!

By joining us in this role you will have a key part in promoting our Process Systems & Solutions portfolio in the northern part of Belgium, and you will work towards growing our business in the area.


  • Develop and maintain strategic level relationships with mainly new and to some extent with existing customers
  • Visit potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Develop new business and growing share in the existing customer base
  • Maintain and develop existing customers through high levels of service in order to expand and strengthen the relationship
  • Handle sales cycles from lead to closure and coordinate cross divisional sales projects
  • Act as a senior contact between Emerson and customers
  • Prepare and implement business plans
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Capture leads and market / customer information

  • Engineering degree or comparable technical education
  • Meaningful sales experience and knowledge in a similar technical environment
  • Solid understanding of automatisation systems. Technologies include PLC, DCS, SCADA
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Be an excellent teammate willing to work with other sales people in the region and globally.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English are mandatory; Fluency in French would represent an advantage
