To support Zurich’s growing business, we are seeking to strengthen our Finance department with a Credit Management Specialist in Zaventem, Belgium.

Our credit management team is focused on the administrative and financial processes to assess and control receivables, perform banking activities, and manage payments.

In this role you will be in permeant contact with customers and brokers to ensure their outstanding balances are paid within the specified timeframe.

Our finance department is also working on streamlining and improving processes. We are therefore seeking a new colleague that is eager to embrace change and actively contribute to improve our way of working.

Strong communication, administration and Excel & SAP skills are key to be successful in this role.

Key responsibilities :

Perform reconciliations on debtors balances and handle debt collections from / settlements to agents and brokers timely

Collects and reconciles premiums and non-premiums Ensures timely and accurate allocation of payments to the appropriate policy entries and invoices

Prepares, reconciles, and maintains general and subledgers, reports, analyzes, interprets accounting records and drives remediation of un-reconciled balances.

Independently collate and analyze data using pre-determined financial modeling and accounting tools, methods and formats and make recommendations in order to support the department s decision making process.

Performs general administration activities in support of team. Act as customer service representative with internal and external clients and distributors clearly responding to inquiries by providing technical advice in a professional, timely and accurate manner.

Lead short-term defined scope projects or support larger projects within finance operations through planning and carrying out regular project quality reviews using standard methodologies in order to identify, assess and take action to mitigate risks to project success.

Your profile

Background in finance, accounting or related discipline

Experience in insurance is an asset

Advanced knowledge of Excel

Knowledge of SAP ECC & FSCD

Accuracy and attention to detail

Strong communication skills in English & Dutch
