As Senior Manager Operational Excellence you supports the Business Unit Operational Excellence Lead to deliver the NEBU Supply Chain performance improvement plan, through application of api (Accelerate Performance Improvement, the CCEP Supply Chain common OE framework).

  • Support the development and execution of performance improvement plans in NEBU by working with the accountable site and departmental operational leads and BU or central functional leads.
  • Supports the BU OE lead in managing the dotted line relationships with site / country OE leads
  • Represent NEBU in CCEP Supply Chain OE network activities (assessments, workshops, training events, learning exchange, cross-BU projects)
  • Range of customers comprises : VP Supply Chain NEBU; NEBU SC country leads (Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Iceland) and their operational and functional leads (Commercialisation, Planning, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, Cold Drinks Operations);
  • NEBU Strategy Lead; site / country OE managers

  • Range of stakeholders comprises : functional leads in the central Supply Chain Strategy & Coordination team (OE, Planning, Commercialisation, Coordination & PMO, Coordination leads for Supply Chain networks (Manufacturing, Logistics, Cold Drinks Operations);
  • central functional Directors (Asset Care, Quality Environment Safety & Health, Learning & Development).

  • Provide practical support for implementation of api programme activities where agreed as part of site, country and BU performance improvement roadmaps Work with site teams and department / functional leads to deliver workshops, assessments and training activities Support the identification and delivery of performance improvement projects.
  • Coach and advise operational and OE managers on api implementation through practical support in specific projects

  • Manage the planning, preparation, execution and follow-up of api activities hosted in the BU
  • Facilitate workshops on specific themes as part of implementation and know-how sharing
  • Contribute to the central api Team Site to facilitate the sharing of learnings, standard documentation, event calendars, team communications and news updates
  • Contribute to the development and distribution of tools related to the api framework Creation of standard documentation and self-
  • assessment guides for use by local teams Documenting and sharing outcomes of external assessments Managing the updating and access of common databases eg Repeatable Models repository

  • Managing participation and validation of api education and training events : Evaluate effectiveness of api capability building activities in NEBU Provide overview and tracking of api capability building across NEBU
  • Your Profile :

    You will have an University graduate calibre, with degree in operations management, supply chain & logistics, engineering, food technology or similar discipline.

    Masters degree in related specialist field would be beneficial but not essential.

    In addition, the role demands a strong track record of implementing and sustaining performance improvement through the application of OE principles and methods, ideally including experience of deploying OE standards across multiple locations.

    As an experienced manager you will have a demonstrated track record of line management and / or performance improvement within CCEP or similar environment.

    Demonstrates readiness to broaden exposure to different functions and / or deepen expertise in areas in which strong competence has already been proven.

    Basic requirement of good analytical skills and ability to construct effective improvement plans. Strong drive for execution is essential but needs to be balanced with the ability to enable others and work in environments without direct line management authority.

    You are able to interpret stakeholder relationships and understand when to escalate or defer to others. Good influencing skills combined with ability to lead by example.

    Demonstrates appropriate balance of focus on results and capability building. Clear communication style with sensitivity to different audiences.
