Helping our clients in the Financial Services sector to go through their Sustainable Finance journey is one of our key priorities.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant / Manager to join our ESG / Sustainable Finance team in the Financial Services area.
Understanding the agenda of top management of the financial institutions is of utmost importance to deliver qualitative and value-added services and help our clients with these critical strategic and regulatory challenges.
In the position as an ESG / Sustainable Finance Senior Consultant / Manager , you’ll focus on identifying and prioritising sustainability issues, assisting clients to set goals that support alignment and integration of the sustainability vision into the overall corporate strategy, and helping them implementing processes, controls, systems, and dashboards to measure progress for consistent and accurate reporting.

What you’ll learn and do
Responsibilities in projects for clients, focusing on the ESG implementation, i.e. ESG processes and controls, ESG data, related frameworks and reporting dashboards, facilitating the communication within the project stakeholders to enable the ESG implementation activities to be rolled out (front and back office, IT, risk, etc)
Active participation in client discussions to help them dealing with the understanding of the impacts of ESG, the operational implications and assisting them in shaping target operating models and business processes
Work most of the time in close collaboration with our clients, at our client’s promises depending on the agreement with them
Learn about new regulations and understand their impact on the financial institutions (governance, risk management, processes, organisation, people and technology)
Advise clients on their risk and regulatory agendas and help them to operationalise these in their day-to-day businesses
Develop a holistic approach to increase the level of trust, implement strategic decisions in a sustainable manner and enhance efficiency
Who you are
Master's in (applied) economics, business engineering (e.g. management information systems), law, or any relevant economic major, possibly via a second master's or PhD - an ESG / Sustainable Finance study background is a plus
Minimum 5 year(s) of non-financial risks auditing, risk assessment / process assurance consulting in sustainability matters within financial institutions
Concrete ESG and Sustainable Finance experience (disclosures, taxonomy, development of risk indicators, etc)
A professional experience in credit risk consulting is an asset
Excellent communication skills combined with critical mindset and client-oriented skills
Born team player who likes to take initiative
Fast learner, open to challenges and keen to continue learning and developing
Fluent in Dutch and / or French, as well as English
Open to learning new technologies, robotic process automation or data analytics skills
