We are looking for an HR Manager in Belgium.

The HR Manager provides HR leadership and partnership for the associates based in Belgium. He / she develops and implements HR initiatives focused on achieving local objectives, in alignment with the objectives of the global organization.

What you’ll do

  • Council, influence and guide all people leaders on the HR implications of business strategies and all aspects of people-management and leadership;
  • Partner with HR colleagues and business leadership in organizational assessment and diagnosis as to improve organizational capability;
  • Coach and develop the local HR Team;
  • Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations when appropriate;
  • Partner with Unions, Workers' Council and employees' representatives;
  • Collaborate with recruiting and hiring managers to provide strategic staffing and recruitment input;
  • Develop and manage communications regarding organizational changes, employment-related news, and HR-related programs and updates;
  • Supervise payroll activities in Belgium;
  • Guarantee adherence to local legislation, communicate and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Execute the rollout of ongoing Talent Programs around performance management, organization and talent assessment, engagement and more;
  • Partner with Compensation and HR leadership on recommendations for client group on compensation changes, job creation / levelling for roles, review of relevant market data, promotions, etc.
  • Who you are

  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated experience in HR and Leadership, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
  • Knowledge of social legislation and payroll principles;
  • Experience in employee relations;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment without compromising on quality;
  • Excellent influencing abilities within in a matrix organization;
  • Proficient in Dutch and English.
