Managing a team of around 15 employees, make a significant contribution to the profitable growth and development of the company, evolving with the business and delivering results in a highly competitive sector.
Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
Understand the requirements of existing customers (major retailers) to ensure their needs are being met.
Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service, etc.,)
Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 10 / 15 years of proven and successful experience as Commercial Director in the food industry in multiple countries in Europe.
An experience built within a market leader organization completed in a smaller, dynamic and entrepreneurial organization would be ideal.
We will consider candidates without Private Label experiences but open to develop a PL activity.
Proven experience in sales and marketing as well as managing relationships with key retail clients in the region.
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. We are looking a candidate with a potential for a General management position.
You should be fluent in English and Dutch. Any further languages are welcome
