About the Role

The Customer Success Representative (CSR) is part of a newly formed team charged with growing our footprint within our current customer base.

With over 1,200 businesses leveraging DataCamp, our customer base is full of untapped potential. This role is focused on identifying and capitalizing on that potential.

From an inbound perspective, leads from our current customer base are routed to the CSR to effectively communicate value and close that lead into a new business group, or adding to a current business account.

From an outbound perspective, the CSR is charged with identifying and communicating with current users (over 3 million) in our customer base, in an effort to convert them to new, additional groups for our customers, or add them to current customer groups.

The CSR is also charged with working in partnership with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) to assist in developing account mapping plans for our most strategic opportunities in the enterprise.

Some of the most potential sits in connecting thousands of current users with their company accounts. This also means working with the Marketing and Growth teams on account based marketing to identify how we grow accounts by orders of magnitude.

This role reports into, and works closely with the Director of Customer Success Representatives.

What we’re looking for :

  • 2+ years of professional experience, preferably as BDR or CSM
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Metrics-driven and attention to detail.
  • Experience mapping / working with the Fortune 1000
  • A history of success in a commercial role (achieving sales / expansion targets)
  • SaaS Experience
  • Experience handling both inbound and outbound leads / opportunities
  • Determination to connect with as many users as effectively possible
  • It’s a plus if :

  • You have experience in the education field
  • You have familiarity with the data science field and typical data science workflows
  • Some of your key metrics will be :

  • Volume and pace of closed won opportunities
  • Growth of average deal size
  • Percent of revenue goal
