Your main objective for this position will be to create a new vibe in the kitchen by :
training & developing the existing kitchen team in order to evolve into the next level
creating a completely new, attractive and varied lunch and dinner menu, banqueting packages
improving, modernizing or entirely changing existing concepts
setting up procedures in order to achieve a more structured operation
keeping a close eye on the foodcost and global rentability of the kitchen
you will play an active role in the daily kitchen operation to set an example and to garantuee quality
you ensure an efficient stock management
you are responsible for the weekly schedules
you will work closely with the F&B manager and report to the Operations manager
You have a minimal experience of 3 years as a (sous) chef in a hotel or banquet environment.
You are utterly motivated and driven to structure and modernize this hotelkitchen.
You are good in administration and cost control, but passionate about cooking and new trends.
Strong knowledge of HACCP.
You have proven to take the lead in a mid-sized team. People manager!
Flexible, dynamic and stable personality.
Fluent knowledge of French and English.
