Transaction Services Consultant Business Clients Transaction Services Sales Officer / Employee / CDI, Experienced, level G, Belgium, Business Centre Your role & work environment As a Transaction Services Consultant your challenge is to enable the Business Centre to achieve the global sales targets with respect to Transaction Services.

You act as a trusted advisor and you are an expert in all Transaction Services domains : Payment and Cash Management (PCM), Trade Finance Services (TFS), Liquidity, Deposits & Investment Management, Financial Markets, Innovative products and Working Capital Optimization.

Besides this, you will have a specialisation in depth in one or more domain(s), acting as a Single Point of Contact and reference for clients with complex needs, your colleagues, Relationship Managers, Business Director and the Business Segment Management Tribe.

You work out from your dedicated Business Centre for all Transactions Services domains for the SME, Midcorporates and / or Institutionals client’s segment.

Additionally, you will also work on a zone level for your specific field of specialisation. Your key responsibilities

  • You are an expert in Transaction Services, who contributes to the development, follow-up and optimization of new and existing client relationships and to the achievement the defined sales targets and commercial objectives for your dedicated client portfolio.
  • You develop, maintain and optimize the relationship with your clients with a view to elaborate, propose and negotiate.
  • You help to identify and respond to sales opportunities, commercial leads, tenders, etc. with a view to commercialize adequate solutions for prospects and existing clients

  • You are responsible for following up a dedicated portfolio of clients, and you set up regular contacts with your clients (face-
  • to-face and call in an efficient way)

  • You coordinate the different stages of the sales process, including the internal approval procedure if required, and ensures the follow-up
  • You are the point of reference in Transaction Services related topics for your dedicated stakeholders : Business Centre Director, Relationship Managers, Sales Expert,
  • You initiate activities in order to increase global Transaction Services revenues and execute the ING and Business Segment overall strategy on client level
  • You are able to discuss strategic Transaction Services topics with your clients

  • You are fluent in or Dutch, or French and you know English in a professional context
  • You have a Master’s or equivalent through experience
  • You have a previous work experience of circa 1 to 3 years with business clients and / or in Transaction Services
  • You own or want to acquire high knowledge of products and services in Transaction Services, including cross-border and innovative solutions
