Continuous Improvement Engineer If you have a big talent for Continuous Improvement combined with a flair for engineering, you’ve just taken one small step closer to your perfect role. Main Responsibilities :

  • Increasing the visibility of the iL6S Management philosophy and principles in order to create an organizational culture that encourages all employees to continuously improve the SQDCSM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Sustainability and Morale) parameters.
  • Provide support and guidelines based on the iL6S methodology and program to all employees within the organization to achieve a zero loss mentality.
  • Set priorities and goals for improvement projects within the section and follow-up the progress towards reaching these goals.
  • Lead, facilitate, coordinate and implement Continuous Improvement projects within the section to improve performance, quality, to create a standard on tackling losses.
  • Support investment and productivity projects in order to improve efficiencies and waste targets of the production lines within the section.
  • Participate in the daily production meetings (DMS) and coach the teams in the PDCA-approach.
  • Qualifications

    Knowledge, skills and experience :

  • Engineering degree or similar qualification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience within a Manufacturing position
  • Demonstrable experience of continuous improvement tools including Lean and iL6S work processes
  • Experience in leading & developing people with a wide range of skillsets
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills
  • Experience of delivering change though others
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
